May Myers Murphy, 67, of Wheelersburg died Fri., Feb. 25, 2011 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born June 21, 1943 in Blaine, KY., a daughter of the late Elber and Ellarie Eldridge Hay. She attended Scioto Furnace Penticoastal Church. May is survived by two sons, Randy Myers of Portsmouth and David Myers of Wheelersburg; a brother, Rick Hay of St. Paris, OH.; eight sisters, Faye McDaniel of Urbana, Dot Runyan , Annette Howard and Kay Grigsby all of Springfield, Ginger Clark of Portsmouth and Carolyn Mabry, Judy Miller and Jill Smith all of Wheelersburg; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Courtney, Christina and Casen Myers of Wheelersburg and Isaiah, Elizabeth, Gideon, Abraham, Benjamin, John and Serenity Myers all of Portsmouth. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Velma Lou Fisher. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Cline McAllister officiating.
