Melvin E. Craft, age 69 of Wheelersburg, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born March 10, 1948 in Wheelersburg, a son of the late Lindsey Craft and Sheila Ruggles Justice. He was a pipefitter and formerly worked for the N & W Railroad. Melvin attended New Life Worship Center. He loved to golf, fish, hunt, was a big Bengles and Nascar fan.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mills Craft; three sons, Jared E. (Kim) Craft of Sciotoville, David (Ashley) Craft of Scottsburg, IN, and Andrew Craft of Portsmouth; two daughters, Rachel Craft and Leah (David) Hill all of Wheelersburg; three brothers, Monty (Wanda) Craft of Sciotoville, Michael (Janie) Craft of GA, and Matthew (Crystal) Justice of Sciotoville; twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Craft, a stepsister, Bonnie Anderson, and stepfather, Cletus Justice.

Services will be 12 Noon Tuesday February 27, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with interment to follow at Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 to 12 Noon at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
