Michael Vincent Adkins, 48, of Portsmouth Ohio died Thursday, April 20, 2023 at SOMC Hospice Portsmouth, Ohio.

He was born July 5 ,1974 in Martinsville Virginia. A son of Michael and Pamela Adkins.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sarah E Adkins. Survivors include: his father and mother Michael and Pamela (Liles)Adkins of Portsmouth, three brothers Jason L. Adkins and Crystal Nichols of Portsmouth,  Anthony M. Adkins and Emily Pelfrey of Sciotoville, Matthew and Melinda Adkins of Lloyd, Kentucky, one sister Rebecca and Michael Harris of Lucasville, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was formally employed at Adkins Floor Covering. He enjoyed and loved music, football, NASCAR and the outdoors.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at DW SWICK FUNERAL HOME (WOLFE-NELSON CHAPEL). Visitation will be Monday, April 24 from 4 to 6 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
