Michael Edward Greer, 61, of Portsmouth, passed away on August 16, 2025, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Born on April 20, 1964, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late William Greer and Magaleen Cottle.

Michael was known for his love of fishing and his skills as a handyman, often working around the house. He had a career in construction, where he applied his talents and passion for building. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Michael was a beloved husband to Jennifer and had four sons: Michael Greer of Oregon, Jacob Greer of Cincinnati, OH, Trevor Greer of Minford, OH, and Braden Greer of Portsmouth, OH. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Woodward of Utah.

Cremation Service has been entrusted to D.W. Swick Funeral Home in Sciotoville.
