Age 59 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Columbus. He was born April 13, 1957 in Portsmouth, the son of Leslie L. and Janet L. (Hoover) Wilson of Sciotoville. Mike went to Harding Elementary and East High School and served his country honorably in the Marines. He lived in Chillicothe for many years where he worked in the Horticultural Dept. of the VA Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet, and one sister, Becky Wilson Rollins. He is survived by his father, Leslie and stepmother Marilyn, of Smyrna, TN; wife, Martha Daniel Wilson; daughter, Janae' (Levi) Maxwell of Columbus; sons, Russell Wilson of Columbus, Michael (Jana) Wilson of Franklin, TN; sisters, Cathy Wilson of Lakewood, CO, Barb (Richard) Gilcher of Wheelersburg, Jean (Bruce) Clay of Xenia; brother, Mark (Crystal) Wilson of Wheelersburg; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 in the Memorial Burial Park Mausoleum in Wheelersburg. Arrangements are being handled by WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Kobacker House in Columbus in memory of Mike Wilson.
