Michael Steven Taylor, 54, of Portsmouth died Thursday Feb. 5, 2015 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born November 6, 1960 in Portsmouth a son of Beulah Fannin Taylor and the late Charles Taylor. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janey Myers Taylor; one son, Steven A. Taylor; two step-daughters, Melody Edwards and Tiffany Justice and husband Steve all of Portsmouth and 7 grandchildren, Carlie, Jaylen, Levi, Cameron, Bryson, Andrew and Bryson.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday Feb. 9, 2015 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home. The family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
