Age 81 of Sciotoville, died August 13, 2010 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 17, 1928 in Sciotoville to Glenn and Dora (Bolander) Basham. She worked for many years for AAA as a supervisor and loved to travel. Miriam was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Sciotoville, enjoyed oil painting, and especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her brother, Wells (Eloise) Basham of Sciotoville, OH and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Coldiron. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Frank James officiating. Interment will be in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery in Wheelersburg. Friends may call on Sunday, August 15th from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ United Methodist Church in Sciotoville.
