Age 47, of Sciotoville, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born on April 3, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH to Billy and Marilyn (Smith) Allard and was a graduate of Minford High School, class of 1981. Monty was co-owner of The Grounds Team landscaping company and enjoyed whittling, Nascar, cars, all sports, and the great outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Mollett) Allard of Sciotoville; three children, Aaron, Austan, and Alex Allard, all of Sciotoville; two brothers, Jeff (Diane) Allard of Sciotoville, and Tim Allard of New Boston; father-in-law Del Mollett and his wife, Tracy; mother-in-law Bonnie Mollett; sisters and brothers-in-law, John and Kathy Groves, Kelly Mollett, Del and Angie Mollett, Caitlyn Hendrickson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Billy, as well as his parents. Funeral services for Monty Allard will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Gordon Boggs officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 18th between 4 - 8:00 p.m. or one hour before the services on Saturday.
