Monty J. Hughes, 52, of Wheelersburg died Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Nov. 17, 1960 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Ulmont "Monty" and Helen Artis Hughes. He is survived by a brother, Jeff Hughes of Portsmouth; a sister, JoLinda Lyon of Wadsworth and several cousins, neices and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Hughes.
