Nancy L. Pistole, 85, of West Portsmouth, went on to Glory June 22, 2025, at SOMC Hospice of Portsmouth. Nancy was a woman of deep faith, an active member of the Church of God of Prophecy in New Boston and found joy in hearing The Gaither's sing. She was known for her love of sewing, gardening, knitting, and quilting. Her rose bushes were a testament to her green thumb, and she could make the piano keys sing, playing by ear. Her quick wit and playful nature kept her husband Jack on his toes as she would poke at him for fun, throughout their 56 years of marriage.

Nancy is survived by her son Jack Anthony "Tony" (Sue) of Dry Run, OH; daughters Sarah "Chrissy" Skaggs of Wheelersburg, OH, and Sandra (Michael) Holsinger of Stout, OH. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Edward Pistole, daughter Susie Pistole, brothers Howard and Joe Freeman, and sisters Carmella Freeman, Shirley Potter, Betty Lauder, and Bobbie Sue Dever.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Swick Funeral Home/ Wolfe- Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville, OH.
