Nicolas Dean McGowan, 38, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was born August 9, 1981 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Andrew and Peggy Adams McGowan. He was a mechanic who loved working on cars and spending time with his children.

Nicolas is survived by three sons, Devin McGowan, Levi McGowan, and Caden McGowan all of Wheelersburg; one brother, Todd McGowan of Georgia; two sisters, Andrea McGlone of South Webster and Kelly McGowan of Franklin Furnace.
