Norma Marcella Canary, 102, of Minford passed away Wednesday June 12, 2024 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 8, 1921 in New Boston, a daughter of the late Fred and Jessie (Moore) Campbell.

She was a former sales clerk at Sears. She was a Christian woman and a member of the Sciotoville Women's Garden Club. She enjoyed bowling and loved to make pies, cakes and candy and was known as the best in the county. She was a great story teller and loved to make everyone laugh.

Norma is survived by a son, Gabriel Canary of Franklin Furnace; a daughter, Becky Mason of Sciotoville; a special daughter-in-law, Barb Woodford (Woody) of Stout; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and  9 great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Canary whom she married in 1940 and a sister Dorothy Price.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday June 18, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with Pastor Paul Goshorn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
