Opal Fraley, 94,of New Boston died Monday, August 25, 2014. At SOMC Hospice Center. She was born October 24, 1919, in South Webster, a daughter to the Late David Hamilton and Addie Bush. She was married on March 16, 1935 to the late Lester Fraley. She is survived by 2 sons; Harold (Evelyn) Fraley of Lucasville and Dale (Barbara) Fraley of Smithfield, TX. 4 daughters; Nikki (Lowell) Howard of Haverhill, Ricki Jones of New Boston, Terri (Brad) Hickman of New Boston and Anita (Danny) Harrison of West Portsmouth. 1 brother; David Ted Hamilton of New Boston. 9 grandchildren; Howie, Christi, Josh, Bubba, Shawn, Misti, Brandi, Zak and Jacob. 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph, 3 brothers Cliff, Randy and Alton. 3 sisters Lola Campbell, Lorena Poole and Gertrude Crabtree.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 30, 2014 at D. W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Jeremiah Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to SOMC Hospice. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome
