FRANKLIN FURNACE - Orland Lawrence Leadingham, 78, of Franklin Furnace passed away December 23, 2021 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born July 7, 1943 a son of the late Irene Leadingham Pierce. He was a former photographer for many years, loved gardening and his dogs.
Orland is survived by three brothers, Paul (Beverly) Leadingham of Dayton, David (Laquita) Leadingham of South Shore and James (Teresa) Pierce of Kettering; two sisters, Mary Lou (Elva) Williams of Franklin Furnace and Helen Martin of Bellbrook. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Pierce; brothers, Herman, Ray and Herbie; sisters, Ruth Ann Pierce and Wilma Bernier.
Services will be 1:00 PM Sunday December 26, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Junior furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
