Pamela Sue Schopieray, 58, of Mansfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Ohio Health in Mansfield. Pam was born on December 6, 1962 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Carol (Williams) Nagel and the late Conrad Nagel. She worked at The Ohio State University campus in Mansfield for 30 years.

Pam had an active lifestyle that included biking, hiking, and swimming. She and her husband loved hiking in many of the national parks, especially the Great Smoky Mountains and the Grand Canyon. Pam radiated warmth and sincerity and easily made friends with everyone she encountered. Pam's faith guided her throughout her life, allowing her to see the good in all and pray for those in need.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Michael Schopieray of Mansfield, Ohio; her mother, Carol Nagel; sons Joshua Charles Leonard and Shaun Schopieray; daughter, Montana Schopieray; brothers Tim (Charity) Nagel and Steven Nagel; sister Cindy Litteral; nieces, Kelly Lopez, Cindy Brown, Melissa Nagel and Emily Nagel; nephews, Ethan Nagel and Jacob Nagel; grandniece, Morgan Brown. Pam considered the fellow Boy Scout moms of Troop 121, along with her colleagues at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, to be her special friends and extended family.

There will be a visitation on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 12:00pm at D.W. Swick Funeral Home Wolfe Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville. The funeral service will be held immediately after at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
