Pamela Oppy Smith, 69, of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday June 4, 2022 at her residence after a short illness. She was born July 23, 1952 in South Webster a daughter of the late Carl Oppy and Georgia (Wilburn) Booth.

She was a former school teacher at Green Local Schools where she taught High School English. She enjoyed reading, writing short stories and crocheting.

Pam is survived by a son, Joshua Tate Smith and a daughter, Leslie (David) Jewell all of Wheelersburg; a brother, John (Beverly) Oppy of Columbus; grandchildren, Tyler (Kati), Zachary (Beth), Cole (Alex), Haley, Andrew and Lexi as well as two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Clara Beth.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday June 12, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Ryan Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
