Patricia Earlene Lavender, 84, of Franklin Furnace, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born April 18, 1941, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Carrie (Wilson) Bocook.

A devoted homemaker, Patricia dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home filled with love. She was a faithful member of Ohio Furnace Enterprise Baptist Church, where she found joy in fellowship and her faith in the Lord. Patricia especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She found peace and happiness in life’s simple pleasures—tending to her flowers, watching the deer and squirrels that visited her yard, and sharing laughter and stories with those she loved. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her loving children, Michael (Tilly) Lavender of Franklin Furnace, Kelli Keaton of Grove City, and Lori (Johnny) Blanton of Franklin Furnace; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, Larry Lavender, who passed in 2018; her son, Chris Lavender; brothers, Bill Bocook and Sammy Bocook; and sisters, Carol Mays and Marsha Bocook.

Patricia’s life was a testament to faith, love, and grace. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on through the family and friends she so dearly loved.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 09, 2026, 1:00 PM at Ohio Furnace Enterprise Baptist Church, 3132 Haverhill Ohio Furnace Rd, Ironton, OH, with Roger Lavender and Johnny Blanton officiating, interment to follow at Buckeye Cemetery; Visitation will be 12:00 until 1:00 at church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Wheelersburg.
