Age 71 of Wheelersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at her home.  She was born September 8, 1946 in Portsmouth to John Edward and Pearl (Messer) Farrell.  Patty was a 1964 graduate of South Webster High School and loved to cook, do crossword puzzles, and sew.  A fan of "Wheel of Fortune" she also loved flowers, cardinal birds, and listening to country music.

Patty is survived by her father, John Edward Farrell; husband, Ray E. Charles; son, Matt (Lee-Ann) Charles of Wheelersburg; daughter, Valerie (Jeff) Dempsey of Sciotoville; brothers, Steve (Valerie) Farrell of Wheelersburg, Carlos (Tawanna) Farrell of Wheelersburg; sisters, Vicki (Dave) McCoy of Wheelersburg, Nancy (J.B.) Gulley of McDermott; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Cartee.

There will be a memorial service for Patty on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her Dad's house, John Farre, II.  All family and friends are invited to join us at 2:00 p.m.  Arrangements are being handled by D.W.
