Age 64 of Sciotoville, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2017 at SOMC in Portsmouth. She was born August 18, 1952 in Berlin, Germany to Roy and Gerda (Drager) Helvenstine. Peggy was a devoted bible reader and member of Rivers of Joy Church. She worked for 19 years at KDMC as a sterile technician. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband, John; three sons, John Jr. (Paula) of Sciotoville, James (Jessica) of Franklin Furnace, Erich of Sciotoville; five grandchildren, Ashley, Elizabeth, Bryan, Jaylen, Alex; 5 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Helvenstine Jr. (Kiyomi) of Okinawa, Japan, Douglas Helvenstine (Lori) of Tampa, FL; one sister, Linda Asbell of Washington Courthouse. She was preceded in death by her parents.
