Phillip D. Hammonds, 59, of Manchester, formerly of South Webster , died Wednesday Dec. 12, 2012 at home. He was born Sept. 6, 1953 in Lyra, a son of the late Grover and Edith Rudd Hammonds. He is survived by a daughter, Tracy Hammonds of Manchester; 2 brothers, Jim (Linda) Hammonds of Lyra and Jerry (Candy) Hammonds of South Webster and a sister, LaVonda Grooms of Tulsa , OK.; 3 grandchildren, Jazlyn Rust, Jade Rust and Shana Bryant. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack and Joe Hammonds. Graveside services will be 1:15 PM Saturday Dec. 15, 2012 at South Webster cemetery.
