Phyllis Jean Fitch, 85, of Rigrish Addition, passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born July 10, 1937 in Sciotoville, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Willis) Howell.

She was a homemaker who loved to read, watch television, sit on her porch and go out meeting with her friends.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Diane Coyle of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Brandie Coyle, James Coyle and many friends and neighbors.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Fitch.

Private burial will be at Memorial Burial Park under the direction of the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville.
