Rachel Dawn Penix, 35, of New Boston passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1984 in Portsmouth, a daughter of William Penix of Portsmouth and Ruth Robertson of New Boston. Rachel loved spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her parents she is survived by two sons, Leeland Rogers and Legend Rogers of Dayton; three brothers, Jonathan Penix of Portsmouth, Benjamin Penix of Wheelersburg, and Christopher Morrison of Portsmouth; three sisters, Tiffany Penix of Portsmouth, Myrakal Penix of New Boston, and Nikita Adkins of Portsmouth. She was preceded in death by a son, Malachi Kerns; grandparents, Ruth and Alvin Davis and Frank and Mary Penix.
