Raymond E. Mutter, 87, of Clarktown passed away Friday August 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born Feb. 18, 1927 in West Portsmouth a son of the late Harlin and Essie Farley Mutter. He was a former General Foreman with United States Gypsun Corp., was a member of William A. Baker Post 363, American Legion and attended South Shore Church of God. He is survived by his longtime friend and companion, Wilma Daniels of Minford; a cousin Donald Wilburn of Bradenton, FL. and several other cousins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Mutter in 2007 and a brother, Eugene Mutter. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014 at South Shore Church of God with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park with military honors by William A Baker Post 363 and James Irwin Post 622, American Legion. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 PM at D.W.
