Raymond "Wink" Simmering, 91, of South Webster passed away peasefully at home on Thursday January 2, 2014. He was born February 2, 1922 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Edward and Mayme Pitts Simmering. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WW II. Raymond is survived by his wife, Vivian Lewis Simmering and a daughter, Tamela Simmering both of South Webster. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Karl Simmering and an infant sister, Amber Rose Simmering. There will be no services. Cremation being handled by D.W.
