Age 58 of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, January 22nd at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. She was born August 1, 1952 in Portsmouth, OH to August "Curly" and Lillian (Shaw) Conley. Rebecca was a homemaker and enjoyed watching basketball and football, rooting for both the Manning brothers. She also loved horseback riding and was a great lover of animals, rescuing the injured and nursing them back to health. She is survived by two brothers, Jerry Conley of Portsmouth, Ronald Conley of Wheelersburg; four sisters, Linda Strong of Sciotoville, Sandra Bowling of Wheelersburg, Dianna (Kenneth) Bostick of South Webster, Debra Conley (Ted Williams) of Portsmouth; many nieces and nephews; her special animal friends, her dog Brindi, and Bobby the goose. Funeral services will be at 12:00 on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Kevin Gullion officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call from 10 - 12 prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sierra's Haven.
