Regina Sue Harrison, 57 of Powellsville, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth. She was born Feb. 9, 1958 in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Ray Lathrop and Margaret Ruth Newsom Lathrop who survives her. She was a member of the Moose Lodge 1962 in Titusville, FL, the Portsmouth Eagles Lodge 4285, and the Anchor Pad Marina in Portsmouth.

Regina is also survived by her daughter, Jodi (Aaron) Mowery of Wheelersburg, one brother, Michael Ray (Donna) Lathrop of Valapariso, FL; companion and caregiver of 20 years, Joe Rideout of Powellsville and two grandchildren, Joslynn and Jaylen Mayhew both of Wheelersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Interment will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
