Age 75, of Sciotoville, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home. She was born in New Boston on September 7, 1937 to Benjamin and Marjorie (Hickman) Kegley. She was a wonderful cook and well- known for her pies having worked at Evan's Restaurant in Minford as well as Patsy's Inn. Her faith was very important to her and she was a longtime member of the Sandhill Baptist Church in Wheelersburg. More than anything else she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends
Reva is survived by three daughters, Melissa Marcum of Sciotoville, Rhonda Picklesimer of Rosemont, Brenda Rawlins of Missouri; one son, Tony (Leeann) Kegley of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Misty, Zach, Dalton, Trenton, Zayne; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Paul (Alice) Kegley of Portsmouth, Benjamin Kegley of Lucasville; two sisters, Rosa Woodard of Lucasville, Marie Leadingham of Columbus. In addition to her parents, Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin, in 1996; an infant daughter, Marjorie Ann; one granddaughter, and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at Sandhill Baptist Church in Wheelersburg at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Haverhill Cemetery in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m. or one hour prior to the service at the church.
