Rex L. Harris, Jr, 46, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Friday June 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1975 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of Cynthia (McKenzie) Johnson of Clarksville, TN and the late Rex Harris Sr.

Rex loved the 80's movies, music, dancing, spending time with his family and competing, whether it be on the basketball courts or the arcade. He also was the owner of Rex's Rockin Water Sports. Some of the things that will always be remembered about him is his love for family, friends , his smile and how he prayed before every meal.

Rex is also survived by his wife, Nicole (Hogston) Harris; Nevaeh Carlisle who he loved and raised like his own daughter; 2 brothers, Jason Harris of Clarksville, TN and R.J. Johnson of Largo, FL; 2 sisters, Rebecca Harris of Clarksville, TN and Melinda Harris of Cape Coral, FL; Nieces and nephews, Kaylyn Jay, Kimbella Justice, McKenzie Harris, Kendrick Helms, Lamont Richardson and Jayden Harris and the group who were like his brothers, Steven Cox, Ray Welch, Ron Hutchinson, Jodee Powell, Mo Roman, David Bruton and Bobby Taylor.

Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday June 25, 2022 at Christs Temple, 2601 Lexington Ave, Ashland, KY. with J.D. Crockrel officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Coalgrove, OH. Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 Noon Saturday at the church. Arrangements are being provided by the D.W.
