Rhoda Sperry, 63, of South Webster, formerly of Wayne WV., passed away Saturday December 25, 2021. She was born September 6, 1958 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late William and Pauline Marcum Sperry.
Rhoda loved everything about Christmas, the shopping, gift giving and the joy that Christmas brings. It was so ironic that she died on Christmas Day! She always made everyone that came around feel welcome and enjoyed having them there.
Rhoda is survived by 4 brothers, William E. Sperry, Franklin D. Sperry, Homer L. Sperry and Paul S. Sperry; 3 sisters, Hazel D. Howard, Billie J. Sperry and Roseanna (John) Heintzman. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenny and Robert Sperry; 2 sisters, Minnie Lee and Brenda Sias.
Services will be 3:30 PM Thursday December 30, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the funeral home.
