Richard Dale Lyons, 69, of Portsmouth, died, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Oct. 18,1942, in Sidney, Oh. Richard is survived by his wife, Sadie Lyons of Portsmouth; a son, Robert Lyons of Portsmouth; a daughter, Lisa Lyons of Franklin Furnace; five grandchildren; Robert Damron, Sarah Fisher, Tyler, Brooklyn and Mason Lyons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Buffington; step-father, Robert Buffington; and son, Richard D. Lyons, II. There will be no public services.
