Sharon Bauer, 74, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2024 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born February 24, 1949 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Helen (Edwards) Mault.

She was a graduate of South Webster High School, and a member of the South Webster Bloom Township Ladies Auxillary for over 55 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, camping, working puzzles and was an avid reader. Most of all, she was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Dale Bauer; a son, Adam Bauer and wife Tia of Wellston; a daughter, Jodi Pitts and husband Dayne of Minford; a brother, Ed Mault and wife Pam of Wheelersburg; 3 sisters, Ruth Hanes and husband Bob of Ft. Pierce, FL, Nancy Lewis and husband Don of South Webster, Pattie Hilterbrand and husband Ike of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren, Austin, Samantha, Kolton, Katie and Kason; 2 great grandchildren, Heaven and Sage.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Fletcher.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday April 15, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2 PM prior to services on Monday.
