Age 89, of Slocum Station, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He was born June 27, 1925 in Cambridge, OH, the son of Ancil and Nellie (Wigel) Caseman. He was formerly employed at N & W Railroad, worked construction as a carpenter, was a member of the Jackson Avenue Apostolic Church, and served in the Marines during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pauline in 2011, one daughter Vicky Schneider; two brothers, Ancil Caseman Jr., Charles Caseman; three sisters, Mary Stephens, Joanne Stone, and Betty Justice. Bob is survived by one son; Robert Caseman Jr. of Slocum Station; six grandchildren, Amanda Sparks, Jake Schneider, Reece Caseman, Logan Caseman, Cathy Schneider, Suzie Mullins; two granddaughters by choice, Haley and Layla Whitt; many great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Allen of New Boston; one brother, Donald Caseman of Lucasville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Robert Coffey officiating. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with military rites provided by James Dickey Post #23.
