Robert E. Miller, 69, of Portsmouth died Monday at home. He was born Feb. 28, 1940 in Lancaster, a son of the late Floyd and Helen Poling Miller.He is survived by two sons, Robert (Tammy) Miller of Portsmouth and Derrick (Ruth) Miller of Vanceburg, Ky.; one daughter, Kimberly (James) Pittman of Quency, KY.; one brother, Lee Miller of Newark; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.Services will be 11 AM Fri., Sept. 11, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with burial at Pine Grove cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Thursday at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
