Robert Ridgeway, 85, of New Boston died Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Hill View Retirement Center. He was born June 21, 1928 in New Boston a son of the late Arlin and Zelma Ridgeway. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired iron worker. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Patricia Lauder Ridgeway; one daughter, Judy (Tony) Collier of Waverly; 2 grandchildren, Shelie (Joshua) Crider and Bryan Eaton, a great-grandchild, Olivia Crider; 5 sisters, Ann (Gene) Vice of Portsmouth, Opal (Ron) Wright of Idaho, Nancy (Jodi) Dadoskey of Minford, Janet Cristelli of Columbus and Linda (Jerry) Musick of Columbus; one brother, Richard (Pat) Ridgeway of Monterey, Ind. and a nephew Jim Lauder. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons, David and Jack Ridgeway and 3 brothers, Birch, Raymond and Jim Ridgeway. Private services will be at the convienence of the family.
