Age 92 of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. Robert was born January 6, 1925 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Kenneth and Roxie Workman and had lived most of his life in Ironton, OH. He was retired from Aristech Chemical Corp.

Robert was especially proud to be a WWII survivor, having entered the US. Army at the age of 18 and spending most of the war in New Guinea.

He is survived by one stepson, John (Sue) Fetters of Minford; one step-grandson, Aaron Fetters of Evanston, IL; and one step-great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Dressel Workman; his second wife, Doris Fetters Workman; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Rev. Mike Mounts officiating.
