Robin L. Allen, 62 of Portsmouth, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at S.O.M.C. in Portsmouth. She was born, June 3, 1953 in Portsmouth to the late Robert Moorehead and Edith Smith. Robin was retired from Harts Department Store, where she was the shoe department manager. She loved to read, play on her IPad and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dee Hanson; father-in-law, James Allen and her granddaughter, Ashley Allen.

Robin is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jerry Allen; one son, Jerry (Kelli) Allen, II; one grandson, Jerry "Bubby" Allen,III; one granddaughter, Randi Kuhn; very special mother-in-law, Kathryn Allen; one brother, Carl (Susie) Stone; 4 sisters, Patty (Rick) Warren, Bev (Ron) McGinnis, Bobbi (Dave) Prater and Becky Vest; 50 nieces and nephews and a special lifelong friend like a son, Aaron Rayburn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends from 11 until the funeral hour on Monday. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.swickbussachamberlin.com .
