^{Roger Dale Ashley, 71, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at his home.  He was born December 12, 1950 to the late Ralph and Evelyn (Rawlins) Ashley in Wheelersburg.  Roger attended South Webster High School then retired from Local 437 as a union carpenter with 48 years of service.  He loved to hunt and run his beagles.  Roger also dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren.}

^{Roger is survived by his wife, Brenda (Leach) Ashley with whom he just celebrated 50 years of marriage; two sons, Chris Ashley (Lisa) of Ironton and Aaron Ashley (Kristy Terry) of West Portsmouth; one sister, Barbara Prickett of Wheelersburg; four grandchildren, Brett Michael, Nicholas Tyler, Ryan Alexander, and Morgan Elisabeth.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ashley.}

^{Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Brad Angus officiating.  Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg.  Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2022 and one hour prior to the services on Monday.
