Obituary

Age 64, of Wheelersburg passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at SOMC. He was born in Portsmouth on January 18, 1948 to August "Curly" and Lillian (Shaw) Conley and attended Northwest High School. Ronald served his country in the Army, doing overseas duty in Germany. He spent many years as a truck driver and was skilled at auto body repair. He enjoyed go-cart and stock car racing, building model cars, and loved spending time with his family. Ronald is survived by one son, Michael Conley of Portsmouth; one daughter, Rhonda (Lee) Harris of MO; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Linda Strong of Sciotoville, Sandra Bowling of Wheelersburg, Dianna (Kenneth) Bostick of South Webster, Debra Conley (Ted Williams) of Portsmouth; special friends, Melanie Altiers, Richard Ramey; beloved dog, Pup; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Conley; two brothers, Jerry Conley, Robert Conley; and niece Renae Carter. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Wolfe - Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Kevin Gullion officiating. Friends may call on the day of service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Military rites will be provided by the James Dickey Post #23.
