Ronald Lee Jordan, 59, of Portsmouth died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born May 6, 1949 in Portsmouth a son of Archie Jordan and Leona Maxine Conklin Jordan of McDermott.He was a U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran, an East High alumnist, avid fisherman and was of the Baptist faith. Ronald is also survived by a daughter, Veronica, grandson, Kyle; two sisters, Cheryl Mershon and husband Tim of Portsmouth, Nancy Nagle and husband Mike of New York and several uncles, aunts, cousins, neices and nephews. Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2009 at Harrison Mills Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Delbert Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Monroe cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Monday at the church. Cremation services are being handled by D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
