Age 80 of New Boston, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth He was born to Gardner and Willadean (Phillips) Mershon on December 18, 1937 in New Boston Ronald was of the Baptist faith and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1955 He retired after working 43 years as a diesel repairman at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, MD An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a loyal fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Ronald is survived by two brothers, Richard Mershon of New Boston and Rodney Mershon of Wheelersburg; two nephews, Danny Mershon and Bill Mershon; three nieces, Lori Erickson, Becky Mershon Harr, and Teresa Hiles In addition to his parents Ronald was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland Mershon and Jerry Mershon.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the D.W.
