Age 83 of Portsmouth went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at home. She was born April 12, 1933 in Spencer, WV, a daughter of the late William and Nettie Nida King. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in South Webster, retired as a Claims Representative at the former Buckeye Union Insurance Co. and worked at the former Marting's Department Store. She loved gardening, growing flowers, reading, cooking and shopping.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Charles 'Charlie" Horner; three daughters, Elaine McGraw of South Webster, Kenita Robinson-Keck and husband Stephen Keck of Newark, Brenda Rollins and husband Lonnie of South Webster; one brother, Rex (Ronda) King of Pigeon, WV; two grandchildren, Bryan (Tiffany) Butts of Wheelersburg and Kenneth C. Keck of Newark; two great-grandchildren, Ava Butts and Bransen Butts; and special sisters-in-law, Aunt Dot Horner and LaMoine King. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William "Bud" King and a sister, Marjorie Barnett.

Services will be 12 noon Saturday December 31, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastors Sam Peters and Tom Charles officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home. Donations may be made to SOMC Hospice.
