Age 90 of Sciotoville, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her home. She was born June 29, 1926 in Portsmouth to Harry and Grace (Lykins) Atkins. She was a 1944 graduate of Portsmouth High School and worked professionally as the Assistant Credit Manager of Martings Department Store for 30 years. Rosemary was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church in Sciotoville. She greatly enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, and was a member of her church bridge club.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Jane Roe of Sciotoville; six grandchildren, Chris (Ron) Doyle of Hartsville, Rachel (Jerry) Klaiber of Franklin Furnace, Joshua (Izzy) Roe of Lancaster, Matthew (Shawnna) Roe of Reynoldsburg, Erin Roe of Sciotoville, and Gavin Schackart of Sciotoville; four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Sydni Doyle, Allison and Isabelle Klaiber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thorne; son, Marc Bryant in 2004; one brother, Leroy B. Atkins; sister-in-law Teresa Bryant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.
