Age 89 of Portsmouth, passed away on June 25, 2015 at Hillview Retirement Community in Portsmouth. She was born on August 31, 1925 in Portsmouth to James and Clara (Viers) Keller. A 1943 graduate of East High School, Rosie loved nothing more than to sit on her front porch and visit with friends and family. She was organized, a "repurposer" and recycler, and was known for being outspoken. She was very social, loved company, and never had a visitor who didn't get offered a snack and beverage. An avid reader of the local paper, Rosie knew everyone and everything that was happening in her community. And above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by one son, Larry Pennington (Pam) of Portsmouth; one daughter, Sharon Sherman (Tony) of Wheelersburg; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Walter Pennington; second husband, Robert M. Mustard; four brothers; one sister; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Reverend Richard North officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Monday.
