Russell Lee Swim, 54, of Wheelersburg passed away Monday December 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1967 in Vanceburg, KY. a son of the late Richard and Madelyn (Orms) Swim. He was a Warehouse Handler for Valley Wholesale and was a 1985 graduate of Portsmouth High School. He loved to work and had pride in doing a job to the best of his ability. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool and most of all, watching his kids play sports. He also worked at the Wheelersburg Go Cart Track.

Russ is survived by his wife, Tamara (Hodge) Swim; two sons, Trevor Swim and Ciara Smith of South Webster and Trenton Swim of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Brittany Swim and Hunter Blacker of Wheelersburg; five brothers, Gary Swim of Dayton, Jerry Swim of Florida, Dallas Swim of Portsmouth, Doug Swim of Chillicothe, Phil Swim of Florida and a granddaughter, Eliana Swim.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday December 22, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Jeremiah Webb officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Private interment will be at a later date.
