Ruth Ann Carr, 60, of Lucasville, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born July 22, 1951, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Kenneth Gillam and Helen Winebrenner Fraley. Ruth Ann is of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by a son, William Scott Carr of FL; three daughters, Barbara Ann Conley of Ironton, Rhonda Gale (J.D.) White of Lucasville, Billie Jean (Bo) Coleman of West Portsmouth; brothers and sisters, Donna Gillam, Kenneth Gillam, Roscoe Gillam,Terry Witherspoon, Sandy Hammonds, Hazel Baldwin, Debbie Messer, John Witherspoon, Cody Gillam; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn, Chelsea Nicole, Deanna Michelle, Kendra Rose, Haley Alyssa, Kyle Mitchell, Alyssa Renee, Jack David, Misty Dawn, Stephen Thomas, William Scott, Carlie Jo; and a great-grandchild, Sophia Nykole. Services will be 1:00pm, Monday, June 4, 2012 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Buddy Baker officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park.
