Age 86 of Urbana formerly of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord February 27, 2016 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio She was born in Portsmouth on December 26, 1929 to James and Flormece (Holly) Gray She moved to Urbana in 2005 with her husband Emmitt to be closer to their family She was a longtime member of Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church and faithfully attended Urbana Freewill Baptist. Ruth was a devoted homemaker and loved serving the Lord.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Wayne Neal (Rowena) of Lucasville, Eddie Lewis Neal (Loraine) of Lucasville, James Neal (Jeanette) of St. Joseph, MO; two daughters, Cheryl Evans (Marty) of Urbana, Sue Hilliard (Gene) of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Bessie Farrell of Hillsboro; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Emmitt Neal, in 2012; many brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at D.W.
