Age 74 of Sciotoville died Monday, September 23, 2013 at SOMC in Portsmouth. He was born June 6, 1939 in Portsmouth to Everett and Helen (Webb) Kline. He was a 1958 graduate of Portsmouth High School and served in the US Army from 1958 – 1964. Kline was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and Masonic Lodge. He worked for over 30 years for the city of Portsmouth, first in sanitation, then in the street department, and finally with the water treatment plant where he worked as a filtration plant operator until his retirement in 1998.

He is survived by five sons, Tony Kline of Johnson, Vermont, Everett Kline of Sciotoville, Frank (Debbie) of Fort Wayne, IN, Samuel Kline of Sciotoville, and Jason Kline of Gallipolis; one sister, Sharon White (Kenneth) of Otway; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
