Sharon Brown, 61, of Portsmouth, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She was born April 8, 1951, in Portsmouth, a daughter of John and Joyce Miller Martin who survives. Sharon is also survived by two daughters, Shannon Campbell, Candie (Richard) Asbell; three grandchildren, Angel (Doug) Compton, John Evans, and Amber Evans. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Martin and a granddaughter, Britany Evans. Services will be 2 PM, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Doug McNutt officiating. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 until 2PM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
