Sharon K. Chasteen (Lawrence) age 62 a longtime resident of Tallahassee, Florida, and formerly of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Born June 22nd, 1962 to Loretta and Glenn Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn O. Lawrence. Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Carl Chasteen; her mother, Loretta Lawrence; a brother, Larry (Susan) Lawrence; her three beloved daughters, Kathryn Chasteen (Matthew March), Bethany Schwartz (Justin), and Rachel Murray (Peter); as well as two cherished grandchildren, Eli and Evelyn Schwartz.

Sharon's life was marked by love and resilience. For 19 years, she was the crossing guard for Robert's Elementary and Montford Middle School in Tallahassee, FL. Though she faced profound losses, she remained a source of strength and inspiration to those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and unwavering spirit.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Christopher Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to service on Friday.
