Sharon K.
Pace
January 15, 1941 – May 15, 2026
Memorial Burial Park
Starts at 2:00 pm (Eastern time)
Sharon Kay (Piguet) Pace, 85, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15, 2026, while under the compassionate care of SOMC Hospice.
Born on January 15, 1941, Sharon was the daughter of the late Virgil Fredrick and Irma Geneva (Hurst) Piguet. A 1959 graduate of East High School, Sharon later worked at Classic Bowling Lanes, where she met the love of her life and future husband, Phillip Ray Pace. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Sharon found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved dancing, gardening, cooking, and traveling, and she especially treasured the time spent with her family. More than anything, Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker whose kindness and unwavering love touched all who knew her. A faithful member of Mead IPCC for many years, Sharon cherished her church family and her relationship with the Lord. Her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Ray Pace; two brothers, Virgil Richard “Dick” Piguet and Charles Douglas “Doug” Piguet; one sister, Linda L. Fultz; and one grandson, Michael Juratovic.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: two sons, Ronald Ray Pace and Danny (Michelle) Pace; three granddaughters, Kayla (Tyler) Fitzgerald, Breanna Pace, and Kimberly (Simeon) Brace; six great-grandsons, Cooper Muck, Samson Fitzgerald, Gary Alexander, Luke Brace, Asher Brace, and Michael Bevins; one brother, Randy Ray Piguet; and one sister, Virginia Lee Lafferty.
Sharon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong faith, and the deep love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her legacy of devotion and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Graveside Service will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 2:00 PM at Memorial Burial Park, Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to D.W Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Wheelersburg.
